Hi everyone,
There is a conference in Rotorua tomorrow, starting 8:30 am sharp.
If you’ve been before, come and be refreshed.
We have had some people who have been 5 times to these conferences and they say they get new revelation from the Holy Spirit each time!
The format and content is constantly being updated and improved, so expect to  be blessed, challenged, empowered,  and invigorated!
A wonderful crowd has already registered, so if you haven’t already registered, we’d love to have you.
You can just turn up on the day.

Hi everyone,
Tonight I was out evangelising.
The first person I approached was a guy in his late 60′s in McDonalds. He was a biker.
Within the first 30 seconds of our conversation, he told me he didn’t want to continue.
He was hard, resilient, and negative.
Jesus said there would be hard soil out there in the world, so I was not surprised.
The next couple I approached a few minutes later were in their early 30′s. Their response was COMPLETELY different. They were total non-Christians.
Once I had got them started on the gospel video …

There is someone in Greyfriars Presbyterian Church in Auckland who has arranged to advertise the Gospel message video outside her church.
The great thing about Greyfriars is the church is located on a very busy road.
God is always raising up ones and twos to keep the Great Commission going forwards in every church.
Praise God for this faithful woman who could see an opportunity to advance the Kingdom and she seized it with both hands!

Just a quick update on the church I am working with in Hamilton, New Zealand.
After four weeks of sermons on Sunday, and the implementation of some key strategies, this church was surveyed this Sunday to determine what percentage of the congregation had been active the previous week with evangelism.
The result? A stunning 42%.   This was down a whole 10 percentage points on last week but then the number of people attending the service this Sunday was up 20% on the previous Sunday.

Please continue to pray for this work.  The …

Hi everyone, last weekend I was asked to speak to a group of 30 plus leaders in a home group style meeting.
The pastor of the church asked me to come and explain how they could mobilise 100% of their congregation for evangelism.
I unveiled the Early Church pattern, showing how 100% of believers in the Early Church were active in evangelism, and how by contrast only 2% were active today.
I showed what has caused this shift and how to reserve the negative trend.
This was a 1.5 hour meeting.
As part of the …

Hi, as I reported in my last post, I am working with a church in New Zealand trying to mobilise 100% of  the congregation to be active in evangelism at least once a week.
Yesterday was only the second time we’d surveyed this church to measure the level of their evangelism activity over the past 7 days.
To watch a 2 minute video which shows how to conduct a survey, please click here.
The first survey showed 60% were active.
The second survey (yesterday) showed 60% of the church were active, so we are …

Last Saturday night I went out evangelising.
First, I went to McDonalds, but there was no suitable situation to whom to give the gospel.
Then I went to Burger King.
I saw a guy about mid thirties waiting outside the toilet area. So I went up to him and asked him the usual opening question.
To know how to start off an evangelistic conversation, click here.
He started watching the gospel video ( and his wife came out of the toilet and joined him.
At the end, he wasn’t sure if he was going to heaven, …

I know a green grocer down the road who is a Christian.
He wanted to spread the gospel by putting the booklet “How To Be Sure Of Going To Heaven When We Die” on his counter.
We wanted to see how many were taken by customers each day.
As it turned out, an average of 8 a day were being taken.
He suggested that we needed to make the cover more attractive in some way, so I went down to the $2 shop and found some small felt stickers in the shape of a …

At church on Sunday I had a wonderful conversation with a middle aged man from Auckland who was visiting his elderly mother at the Mount.
He said he has been a Christian for 25 years and it was obvious that he loved the Lord. I asked if his mother was a Christian and he said; “no, not yet, but I haven’t stopped praying for her salvation”.
He then went on to tell me her name and where she lived. A big smile came across my face as I had the pleasure to …

This morning I went into a fruit shop and an older Chinese lady in her fifties served me.
It was very early so no one else was around.
As she was serving me I asked her is she knew what book was consistently the worlds best seller.
She didn’t know.
I told her it was the Bible and this book covers about 6000 years of history.
She seemed very interested.
Then I explained how we’d made a video which summarised the main message of the bible in 11 minutes.
She became extremely interested and wanted to know …

David Wells is the Presbyterian Minister in Ngaruawahia.
He has attended several ‘Change the DNA of Your Church’ events and is leading from the front when it comes to evangelism.
Below is what he has written about what’s happening in his home town and with members of his church.
David is leading a true missional church.
“A number of towns in the Waikato have embarked on deliberate and intentional evangelism, the results are mind blowing.
Of the 200 homes we visited, there was one violent refusal “Get off my property now!”
There were six polite “no thanks …

Here is a wonderful testimony from Iain Dickson, the Presbyterian Minister at St Andrew in Mt Maunganui in Tauranga.
Iain has been going door to door around his neighbourhood next to his church giving the gospel (Acts 1:8).
We were told by Jesus to focus on our Jerusalem first, so this is what Iain is doing.
He is also now training others in his church to go with him.
This is also biblical. Jesus said “make disciples” and by taking others and showing them how to do it, this is what Iain is doing.
The …

“It is my opinion that tens of thousands of people, if not millions, have been brought into some kind of religious experience by accepting Christ, and they have not been saved” AW Tozer (left).
Recently I heard of a church which conducted altar calls every Sunday and which reported that several thousand people had made “decisions” in the last year.
The report went on to say that the number of people attending this particular church had not increased over the same period. How can this be explained?
I have just written a chapter …

I don’t often receive letters like the following but it made interesting reading.  What do you think? Is the interpretation correct? The letter is written by a balanced, mature, seasoned Christian.
“Hi Julian

Below is a very graphic dream i belive was given by God 2 nights ago.  It was very graphic and very real.

I dreamt that a man was about to murder a woman. With sly words he convinced another to help him. In the end, the man who was decieved into helping actually commited the murder and not the original …

Hi Julian,
Your ministry has been such an inspiration to Kristi and myself.
Kristi and I were asked to speak at a Church in Charleston, North Carolina. The church was hosting an event called Festival of Joy.
Kristi and I were the last speakers before dinner on Sunday, the final day of the Festival.
We have been asked to show two videos. One was a video our our testimonies. The other was a video of the gospel which you can see at
They were running very behind and the organisers asked us to shorten …

Yesterday  I was out evangelising.
I was sitting in McDonalds with a friend talking and I hadn’t shared the gospel with anyone up until this point in the day.  It was 7pm.
A man came in and sat at the table next to us.  He was mid 40′s and quite rough looking.  I figured he probably had some manual labouring job.
He was on his own, and near to us, and wasn’t eating, so I felt to approach him.  I checked the gospel video was ready (i.e. head phones were untangled, biblein11 video …
